Features of silicone gel
• A kind of cross interlink condensate from silicone rubber family with high insulation and excellent physicochemical properties.
• Soft, viscous and soakage material with reliable sticking and compatibility with the interfaces of silicone rubber stress cone, epoxy glass tubing and porcelain.
• No fluidness, no leakage.
• Unformed flexible material thus making compensation for volume change caused by temperature.
• Excellent electrical insulation, more reliable and better performance than silicone oil. A.C. Voltage Withstand and Impact Strength are higher than that of liquid filler. Its Dielectric loss and Dielectric Constant is more adaptable to high voltage. Dielectric strength: 23kV/mm; volume resistance(23°C): 1016Ωm; Dielectric constant (50Hz): 2.8.
•Low heat resistance modulus as coolant for termination, working temperature from -50~180°C.
